150 mph, 150-mile-range all-electric sport bike makes an industry-shaking entry at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design). The company behind this incredible project is called Mission Motors and it is on everyone’s lips after making the announcement that their Mission One super bike will debut at the TTXGP on June 12th.
Designed by Yves Béhar, the revolutionary motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled, 3 phase AC Inducted motor that develops 100 lb-ft at zero revolutions per minute. This translates into the amazing performance figures, but also into a $68,995 price tag for the first 50 Limited Edition 2010 models produced. Also, a less financially demanding Mission One model is expected to be announced this summer.
What the available information on the all-new electric sport bike doesn’t reveal is the weight. And with a High Energy Lithium-Ion with Integrated Safety Battery Pack, the bike is expected to be pretty heavy. But a long as we hear about the 150 mph top speed, we’re more than excited about this innovative motorcycle.
